Final days of 2013

Tomorrow is the last day of 2013. WOW, where has the time gone. I did not date anyone serious, I am still not engaged or married. GO figure! I am just going to keep praying for the man of my dreams and maybe 2014 will be it! I am going to set more running goals. One being run a 10k I believe. I am going to start training with my BFF to run a 5k in 35 minutes or less. We are going to start pushing hard here in the new year! I am hoping to tone and get donw more than I already am! I am just going to live my life the best that I can and be patient and wait on the Lord. I will update on my goals later on when they are 100% set!!! Jeremiah 29:11

I can't keep up!

Yea, I dunno why I try to blog because my life is so busy and hectic that I can never keep it up! This school year sure has been a little crazy, busy and hectic for sure. Whew! I am glad I have had this past week off and still have one more week off! The 2nd semester is going to be pedal to the metal and working hard to get these babies learning and on grade level. I love my job but it sure gets hectic at times. I love all my babies this year! They all have so many different levels, personalities and home lives. They all are unique and special to me! I love them! Well, 2013 didnt bring me love. I am praying daily for me to grow into the person a husband needs. Everyone is married and now having kids. I long for the day when I can have a husband and kids. I can't wait for birthday parties and holidays with a husband and then kids. I love seeing all of the pics of my friends and their families but deep down, I am jealous and just giving it all to the Lord again. Maybe 2014 God will send e the husband that I need to be with! God is good and I will continue to serve him with all I am and all he has asked until my love comes along. After that, I will serve Jesus with my husband. I am FINALLY going back on a cruise! SPRING BREAK IN THE BAHAMAS! It will be a much needed break! Only 78 days and I will be cruising with my best friend/sister LEAH! She has never been and it sure is going to be a blast! I am so excited! I can t wait to be away from technology and just relax! WOOHOO! COME ON SPRING BREAK!!! Anyway, nothing else has been going on! Pre-Planning week

So, I am going to try to keep this up so we will see! This week was chaotic and stressful. I ended today (after working 11 hours) with 23 kids and everything in order. I am sure by Monday it will be a disaster. We have 23 kids (more I am sure will come) and our limit is 18. Don't have enough books, desks or chairs. I have done all I can do. I know God is going to have to carry me this week through it all. It is going to be stressful and I am going to be even more exhausted than I am now. I am ready for bed and it is only 8:30. I plan on resting and recooping because Monday we hit the ground running! Pray for strength, peace and our school year!

First Blog-Summer is over!

Well, summer is officially over. Where has this summer gone? My alarm is set for 5:30 in the morning and boy is it going to come early! Tomorrow, I start my 4th year of teaching. This will be my 3rd year teaching 1st grade. I am really excited to be back at such a wonderful school with great co-workers. I am blessed to be at such a great school! We have some changes this year, so I am hoping they will be smooth ones that will be able to be handled easily. I am praying for my students and parents that I will have this year. I have been blessed in the past with wonderful students and parents. Some parents I have even made life long connections with. My first ever class will be 3rd graders this year. Man oh man does time fly! Be in prayer for all of us teachers this school year. We have a tough job and many people don't realize all that we do and go through. I pray that we all have a great year!
